Holy Shit!! What a week!! Still recuperating from a week full of essay writing. I have never written so much in my life but I enjoyed every minute of It. Thank the stars that we have a 4 day work week this week and a 4 day weekend after. The pleasures of youth work :)  Anyway here is what’s poppin for me this week!! Looks like i will be jamming at two venues with very similar names!!

I was randomly going through my tweets today and I saw a link of a song the legendary DJ JAZZY JEFF had posted a link on and it was love at first listen. Last week was a phenomenal week, It was the first week of my return to school (yay!!) and there was a great energy at all the gigs this past week that reminded me why I love what I do. Shouts to all the lovely folks that filled the MAJOR floor last Sunday. Oakland continues to speak volumes!!
Big Shot out to tha homie DJ MOMA who stopped in on his way to LA to give the Sunday Family a taste of that African NY flava!!
